Beloved Outreach

Beloved United Methodist Church is committed to sharing God’s love outside our own membership.  To do this, Beloved participates in many outreach programs, meant to have a positive impact on the larger community.  We see our community as not just Marysville, or Union County here in Ohio, but also reaching out to Ohio, the United States, and the world. As a new church, we have begun our outreach to these communities, and we look forward to programs and projects that we have yet to imagine.

Christmas Cards For Christ Prison Ministry

Being in prison especially at Christmas time can be an intensely lonely time for an individual.  Even a simple gesture like receiving a Christmas card can help those individuals in prison so that they do not feel completely forgotten.  Each year, Beloved gathers Christmas Cards to provide for the Christmas Card Prison Ministry. We want to help make sure that every incarcerated individual in Ohio receives at least one Christmas Card each year!

Empty Bowls for Union County

Sunday November 24th at 11:30am the youth will be meeting at the crooked door studio after service, to participate in a local awareness campaign called Union County Empty Bowls. These bowls will be used at a community meal to raise money and awareness for food scarcity in our community.

Breakfast with Santa

In December the YMCA of Marysville hosts a breakfast with Santa with the support of Beloved. In addition, Beloved covers the cost for those families staying at impact station.

Impact Station

Beloved continues our year-round support of Impact Station. A supportive stop to get life back on track with Emergency housing & service solution to end homelessness in Union County.
Throughout the year we collect requested supplies and provide financial support.

Easter Egg Hunt

On a Saturday before Easter, Beloved in cooperation with the YMCA of Marysville holds an Easter egg hunt in the YMCA’s gym. It is open to all the children in the community.

Marysville Pride Festival

During the month of June the city of Marysville holds a Pride Festival. Beloved participates by having a tent where we provide water, treats, and other activities as an act of fellowship and support for our LGTBQ-plus friends in the community.

Habitat for Humanity Wall Build

Each year, in September, members of Beloved join members of Jerome UMC in Plan City to pre-build walls for upcoming Habitat for Humanity projects.

Back to School Backpacks

Our church provides for families and students during the fall in 2 ways.
We provide backpacks which members take and stuff and return for our Backpack Blessings Sunday! These backpacks will be given to Impact Station and to many others who may need one.
And we also provide for our community through United Way’s School Supply Drive.

Trunk or Treat

On the Sunday afternoon before Halloween, in cooperation with the YMCA of Marysville, Beloved participates in Trunk or Treat at the YMCA parking lot. It provides a safe place for children to trick or treat and it is open to anyone in the community.
